The Fosston Police Department consists of a Police Chief, a Sergeant, and two Patrol Officers.

The establishment of a police department in Fosston provides exciting new opportunities to serve the community and offers new abilities to work even closer with our business community, health care facilities, schools, and residents. Further, it provides additional coverage with a total of four officers dedicated to the City of Fosston.

The City of Fosston is committed to the safety of the residents and property owners in the City of Fosston and will work diligently to establish a department that will work with the community to provide safety, security, resources and improve the quality of life for all in the City of Fosston.
