Minnesota Dehydrated Vegetables (MDV)
MDV is currently hiring for multiple positions. Must be 18 years or older. No experience required – on the job training provided.
PACKAGER
- Monday – Thursday 7am – 5pm
- $18.50/hour
- Packages finished dehydrated vegetables into 50-pound bags.
- Rotates between packaging, mill room, blend line, and destoner.
- Cleans and sanitizes all equipment and work areas.
PRODUCTION WORKER
- 7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a
- 4 days on / 2 days off rotation (includes weekends)
- $18.50/hour + shift differential $1.25/hr. (3-11p) or $2.00/hr. (11p-7a)
- Front End Production Worker (Finished Dehydrated Product)
- Visually inspects dehydrated product on the conveyor and picks out major defects or foreign materials.
- Fills totes with finished product to the correct weight.
- Cleans and sanitizes equipment and front-end production area regularly.
- Operates a forklift to move the product once it is placed in totes.
- Wet End Production Worker (Raw Product Area)
- Ensures consistent product flows from holding bins to dryer.
- Ensures floor, flumes, conveyors, bins, equipment, and wastewater areas are clean and free of debris.
- Cleans and sanitizes equipment and wet-end production area regularly.
MAINTENANCE SHIFT WORKER
- 7a–7p, 4 weeks then rotate to 7p–7a, 4 weeks
- Rotation every calendar month – only work 15 days/month
- $22.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Maintains and repairs processing equipment.
- Welding, plumbing, carpentry repairs, problem solving.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Six months + maintenance experience required.
