Fosston Area Community Fund

The Fosston Area Community Fund (FACF) invites grant applications in support of charitable, educational and public purpose projects that will enhance or improve the quality of life for residents and/or visitors of the Fosston area. FACF defines the “Fosston Area” as the area covered by the Fosston school district, and includes the communities of Fosston, Lengby, and Gully.

Grants will be considered from any nonprofit organization or public agency whose project addresses one of the following topics:  education and lifelong learning, arts and culture, health and wellness, or recreation and parks, and which benefits the residents of the Fosston area.

Special consideration will be given to a project that collaborates with others, provides a long-term impact, documents and shares project results through photos, and can use the grant funds by June 30, 2018. A total of $4,000 is available. It is anticipated that two $1,000 grants and one $2,000 grant will be awarded, but FACF reserves the right to adjust the amount of individual awards at its own discretion.

FACF grant proposals are due November 8.  Application forms are available on the Fosston Area Community Fund website, www.fosstonacf.org. Mail one copy to the Fosston Area Community Fund, PO Box 34, Fosston, MN 56542.   Grants will be awarded November 2017.

Questions about the application may be directed to Dean Vikan, 218-435-6594 or Michelle Landsverk, 218-280-1755.
