Fairlawn Park

Fairlawn Park offers Fosston residents expanded options for home building. For individuals looking for the convenience of city living but desiring a quiet, residential neighborhood, Fairlawn Park offers the perfect solution.

Fairlawn Park is conveniently located only two blocks south of First Street (Highway 2) and adjacent to open fields on the south and the west, giving homeowners a spacious country feeling unavailable anywhere else in town. Several of the lots open onto a circular drive, aptly named, "Grandstand Court."  Other lots are located along South Omland, Hilligoss Boulevard or 3rd Street SW.

The project is the brainchild of visionary Fosston businessmen, Larry Lenes and Jim Palubicki who decided to respond to the need for residential lots by developing the abandoned fairgrounds on the south edge of town. The vacant livestock barns were removed and in their place will be the twenty-seven newly developed home lots.

Both Palubicki and Lenes believe  that developing Fairlawn Park was important to the community’s future.  “A lot of people were looking for a building lot and have gone to other areas to build. We want to give them the opportunity to build right here,” Palubicki said.

City crews have completed all the necessary work to make the lots ready for building. All necessary infrastructure including curb, gutter, streets, water, sewer and electricity have been completed. Three lots have already been sold with several other inquiries on the remaining lots. Lot prices start at $10,900.
