East Polk Heritage Center
Preserving local history and sharing the stories of East Polk County.
Located at Melland Park, the East Polk Heritage Center is housed in a restored historic home donated in 1986 by the Allen Potvin family. The center preserves and shares the rich history of Fosston and the surrounding area through exhibits, artifacts, and educational spaces.
Hours
March–December: Tuesdays, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
June–September: Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Larson House
An intimate setting ideal for small gatherings such as weddings, showers, anniversaries, and holiday parties.
Moon Schoolhouse
A restored one-room schoolhouse used for meetings, classes, and educational programs.
Picnic Shelter & Grounds
A covered outdoor venue perfect for reunions, picnics, fundraisers, and community events.
Rentals & Membership
The East Polk Heritage Center is supported by memberships and volunteers. Memberships help preserve local history and support programming.
The East Polk Heritage Center is located on City of Fosston property and operates as an independent organization.
