Fosston Area Fire Department
About the Department
The Fosston Area Fire Department is staffed by a team of approximately twenty-five trained volunteer firefighters who meet regularly for training on Wednesday evenings.
In 1998, the department moved into its current station on South Johnson Avenue. The facility provides ample space for trucks, equipment, and training, allowing the department to respond quickly and effectively when called.
The department provides fire protection services for the Cities of Fosston and Lengby, as well as the townships of Beaulieu, Brandsvold, Columbia, Heier, Island Lake, Rosebud, Queen, and portions of Gregory, Sletten, Hill River, and Eden.
