Home Rehab Rebate Application

Fill out the application form below to apply for the City of Fosston’s Home Rehab Rebate. If you have questions, please contact City Hall for more information.

Up to $2,500 is available for eligible home rehabilitation projects within the City of Fosston.

This program is designed to support property improvements that strengthen neighborhoods, improve curb appeal, and help return vacant homes to productive use. The Home Rehab Rebate encourages reinvestment in existing properties while contributing to the long-term vitality of the community.

Eligible Homes:

Have been vacant for at least 12 months
Require significant repairs to restore or renew the home for occupancy
Financing options may be available*

What happens after you apply?
After your application is submitted, Cassie Heide, City Administrator, will contact you to learn more about your project. You may be asked to provide additional details such as a project budget, estimates, or contractor quotes (if applicable). Applications and supporting information are reviewed by the Fosston Economic Development Authority (FEDA), which determines eligibility and award amounts.
