⚾ Summer Baseball & Softball 2026

Open to all Fosston-area kids ages 5–13
Players must be 5 years old by May 31 to participate and if 13 they can be entering 8th grade. Programs begin the first week of June, with games and tournaments held throughout the summer. All practices and games are led by supportive coaches and focus on skill-building, teamwork, and fun.

Location: Fosston Civic Center
Be sure to register during this window to help us plan team numbers.

Cost: (Checks Payable to Fosston Summer Rec) $56 (city residents) $70 (outside city limits)

Programs begin the first week of June

Tee Ball (Ages 5–6)

  • Practice: Wednesdays, 9:00–10:00 AM

  • Game Day: July 1 at 10:00 AM in Bagley

Mites (Ages 7–8)

  • Practice: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:00–10:00 AM

  • Games: Mondays – June 8, 15, 22, 29

Pee Wees (Ages 9–10)

  • Practice: Mondays & Thursdays, 10:30– NOON

  • Games: Tuesdays – June 9, 16, 23, 30, July 7

  • Championship Tournament: July 13

Cadets (Ages 11–12) (entering 6th or 7th in fall)

  • Practice: Mondays & Tuesdays, 9:00–10:30 AM

  • Games: Wednesdays – June 10, 17, 24, July 1, July 8

  • Judy Engebretson Cadet's World Series: July 13

Midgets (Ages 7–8)

  • Practice: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:00–10:00 AM

  • Games: Mondays – June 8, 15, 22, 29

Bantams (Ages 9–11)

  • Practice: Mondays & Tuesdays, 11 AM–12:00 PM

  • Games: June 11, 18, 25, July 2, July 9

  • Tournament: July 13 - Games start at 9AM - Site TBD

Ponies (Ages 11–13)

  • Practice: Mondays & Tuesdays, 11:00 AM–12:00 PM

  • Games: June 12 (Fosston), June 16 (Bagley), June 26 (Fosston), June 30 (Fertile), July 10 (RLF)

  • Tournament: July 16 - Games start at 9AM - Red Lake Falls
