Sports Complex

This multi-purpose complex was developed in 1988 with site improvements to nine acres of city-owned property.  It includes four softball fields, a hockey/skating rink, playground equipment and a hiking trail.  The complex is part of the City's overall plan to provide a comprehensive recreational area that can be used by residents and visitors of all ages.  This includes the development of the adjacent Melland Park and the First Care Hospital and Nursing Home campus.  Long-range plans include connecting the three sites with board-walks, pedestrian walkways and signage to provide a multi-use area.
